Due to restrictions in the Redmine API , this script adds the original revision timestamp to the revision comment. MediaWiki contributor names will be converted to lowercase Redmine user names. The script will fail intentionally if pages to be pushed already exist in the Redmine wiki. Suggestion: su -m www -c "php. Optionally remove any unwanted contributions entirely.

In Redmine: Prepare wiki and users Set upload size higher than the size of the biggest file that you intend to upload. I have only been a user of redmine until now. Could you please give me some hints on whether approach 2 is feasible. Can we write a redmine plugin to get this done?

Or the crude way would be to make the database catalog entries directly. Is this possibe? Are you trying to attach files to wiki pages or write stuff in wiki pages? Thanks for your quick reply. We do not have a requirement to create attachments. We need to copy the redmine wiki files created to the server preferably using Java. Or is it simply writing a Redmine plugin? Ok, that's were we have a slight misunderstanding: the redmine wiki pages are stored in the DB too, so they're not "files" per se.

You can use that runner as kind of a "redmine shell", which you could for example summon with the 3 CLI options for the project identifier, the wiki page name and a string for the content and could look thus:.

This is just written down as it goes, neither tested, nor do I guarantee that it would work like that. Using such a custom script, you could then call it from whatever program you like, pass it the right arguments and interact with redmine like that. Edit : ARG[0] probably holds the name of the script, changed the example accordingly. Keep in mind there is a dedicated documents module for storing technical and user documentation that can be linked via the wiki and a dedicated files module for publishing versions of the tracked project, as a bundle release.

However, if that doesn't fit the bill, file upload support provides a way to distribute any file for user download. The uploaded file name is prefixed with a unique id based on it's parent for directory storage. Multiple files can be uploaded with the same name, however a link within the wiki will only show the most recently uploaded one.
